There are many social media sites you can sign-up for to promote your products, services and specials.
Google+ (requires you to have a GMAIL account). Great for reaching professional customers and businesses in your area. Post your weekly specials, have a daily deal or even cross-promote with other businesses in your town.
Facebook. Great for reaching the younger generation and letting them know why your Independent Pharmacy is more convenient than mail order or a chain store.
Linked-In: Connect with other Independent Pharmacists to share ideas, advertise your store in a professional format.
Twitter: Great for throwing out door-busters or hourly giveaways. Twitter is a quick way to get the word out about your specials and your audience will be waiting to see what you offer, they will also share your information to their followers!
